Course Description: That Takes the Cake Youth Camp

Calling all cake makers! This culinary youth camp will expand students' knowledge of what can be. There are so many different ways of making them! Three, different types of cakes - and their unique frostings - will be introduced and created in this camp. Students will also collaborate as teams on cupcake making and decorating. The kitchen is not gluten or peanut free. Please indicate known allergies in the check out process when prompted. Adjustments to recipes cannot be made during class. Ages 10-15.

Additional Course Information

Bring 1-2 leftover containers each day to share what you prepared with your family and friends! The purchase of a Chef coat is optional and can be selected at checkout. Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.

Cancellation Policy

Students must cancel by contacting our office via phone: (541) 383-7270 or email: ceinfo@cocc.edu. Cancellations received 5 days prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund. Full refunds are also issued for classes cancelled by COCC. Refunds will be issued back to your card or in the form of a check and mailed within two weeks of the cancellation date if paid by check or cash. Failure to participate in a course or program does not result in a refund. Exceptions to the general refund policy are noted in the course descriptions on our website and in the printed schedule.
