Course Detail: WTGN001 - Intro to High-Tech Genealogy

This completely online 45-hour course is self-paced over an eight-week period. Most participants spend 5 to 15 hours per week on mastering course content. As a result of this training, participants will be able to conduct genealogy research using the standard research process; prepare and use digital research logs, pedigree charts, and family group records; cite sources according to standard genealogical practice; and demonstrate the use of computer tools such as flash drives, scanners, cloud-based storage, and genealogy software to record, preserve and organize genealogical information.
