Workforce Training Programs
Advanced SolidWorks Workforce Microcredential
This course builds on the topics and techniques introduced in the SolidWorks Essentials course and will prepare participants to take the Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWP) exam. Participants will advance from simple shape modeling to fully parametric complex models while becoming a more efficient and effective designer for real-world design industries. Successful completion of this one-course program qualifies the participant to earn the Workforce Training and Education Advanced SolidWorks microcredential.
AI @ Work: Education Workforce Microcredential
This 9-hour program meets in person twice over two weeks for three hours each and has a final asynchronous portion chosen by the participant. The training is designed for employees, small business owners, or other working professionals who would like to learn how to contribute to greater efficiency at their organization by implementing AI. As a result of this program, participants will learn to apply generative AI prompting techniques for workplace efficiency, analyze data and workplace systems using AI to improve decision making and processes, and plan AI integration in specific and relevant industries. Participants may register for as few or as many courses as they are interested in without pre-requisites. However, to receive a certificate for the program, participants must complete the two in-person courses and one asynchronous course on a field of their choosing.

AutoCAD Civil 3D Workforce Microcredential
The AutoCAD Civil 3D course is designed for civil engineers and surveyors. The software permits the rapid development of alternatives through its model-based design tools. Students will learn techniques to organize project data, work with points, create and analyze surfaces, model road corridors, create parcel layouts, perform grading and volume calculation tasks, and layout pipe networks. Successful completion of this one-course program qualifies the student to earn the AutoCAD Civil 3D certificate of completion.
AutoCAD Fundamentals Workforce Microcredential
Training Program Description: This computer-aided drafting (CAD) course develops the foundational skills needed to use AutoCAD tools to create technical drawings. Through hands-on application, participants learn to navigate the AutoCAD interface and utilize fundamental drawing commands and techniques to create 2D drawings. This is a Windows-based training. Successful completion of this one-course program qualifies the participant to earn the following: Autodesk? Certificate of Completion for AutoCAD Fundamentals and the Workforce Training Microcredential for AutoCAD Fundamentals.
Autodesk Revit Comprehensive Workforce Microcredential
This accelerated course discusses fundamental to more advanced features of Revit. A lecture and project-based classroom help participants progress from project start-up through construction documentation.??Successful completion of this one-course program qualifies the participant to earn an Autodesk? Revit Comprehensive Certificate of Completion and Workforce Training and Education Microcredential.
Basic Computer Skills Workforce Microcredential
The Basic Computer Skills program introduces participants with little or no computer experience to essential digital skills for the workplace. Across three courses - Basic Computer Skills I, Introduction to Word, and Introduction to Excel - participants learn to navigate a computer, use email and internet tools like Canvas and Zoom, and apply basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills to create documents and organize data. Courses may be taken individually or as a full sequence; participants who complete all three earn a microcredential.
Microsoft Excel Associate Workforce Microcredential
The Microsoft Excel Associate program equips participants with professional-level Microsoft Excel skills while preparing them for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Excel Associate certification exam through Certiport. Across one or two courses - Introduction to Excel and Intermediate Excel - participants build skills in creating and managing worksheets and workbooks, applying formulas and functions, and working with ranges, tables, charts, and objects. Introduction to Excel is recommended but not required; participants may enroll in Intermediate Excel only (4 weeks) or take the full sequence (6 weeks). The MOS Excel Associate exam is included in the program, and participants who complete the program earn a college microcredential.
Microsoft Excel Expert Workforce Microcredential
The Advanced Excel program equips participants with expert-level Microsoft Excel skills while preparing them for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Excel Expert certification exam through Certiport. This 4-week program meets six hours per week, covering advanced formulas, conditional formatting, data analysis, pivot charts, macros, and workbook management including collaboration options and version control. Participants are encouraged to complete the Excel Associate program prior to enrolling if they do not already have a foundational level of Excel proficiency. Participants develop the skills needed to work confidently with complex data sets and professional workbooks in real workplace environments. The MOS Excel Expert exam is included in the program, and participants who complete the program earn a college microcredential. A score of 700 or higher is required to earn the industry certification.
Microsoft Word Associate Workforce Microcredential
The Microsoft Word Associate program equips participants with professional-level Microsoft Word skills while preparing them for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Word Associate certification exam through Certiport. Across one or two courses - Introduction to Word and Intermediate Word - participants build skills to create and edit professional documents including reports, newsletters, resumes, and business correspondence. Introduction to Word is recommended but not required; participants may enroll in Intermediate Word only (4 weeks) or take the full sequence (6 weeks). The MOS Word Associate exam is included in the program, and participants who complete the program earn a college microcredential.
QuickBooks Essentials Workforce Microcredential
Participants will learn the basic operations of QuickBooks Pro Desktop?to create and maintain a fully functional set of books for a small business. As a result of this training participants will be able to build a company file; prepare a chart of accounts and add accounts; and manage customers, vendors, and items. Successful completion of this one-course program qualifies the participant to earn the Workforce Training and Education QuickBooks Essentials microcredential.
Salesforce Administrator Workforce Microcredential
This 66-hour Salesforce Administrator training course is designed to support students seeking their Salesforce Administrator credential. As a result of this training, students will be able to apply test-taking strategies; design a system that meets business needs; analyze the most effective layout (configuration) for business users; illustrate the customer experience and sales and support life cycles; explain productivity and collaboration features, including AI; create a report in a dashboard; and build a Flow based on business needs.
SolidWorks Essentials Workforce Microcredential
This course introduces basic to intermediate SolidWorks techniques with a focus on its parametric capabilities. Participants will progress from basic design models to full parametric models, assemblies, and drawings. Successful completion of this one-course program qualifies the participant to earn the SolidWorks Essentials microcredential and sit for the Certified SolidWorks Associate Exam
