Workforce Training Programs

This 48-hour course meets for three hours twice a week over an 8-week period. As a result of this training, students will be able to navigate, organize, and customize the workspace; use core tools for create and edit digital media and typography; manage advanced Illustrator tools to manipulate, evaluate, and adjust graphics; prepare and export documents in various formats for web, print, and digital platforms, ensuring professional-quality output; and explain fundamental design industry concepts, including terminology, basic principles, and client communication and design workflows. The course includes a voucher to take the industry standard Certiport certification: Adobe Certified Professional in Graphic Design & Illustration using Adobe Illustrator.

This course equips students with essential InDesign skills. As a result of this training students will be able to navigate, organize, and customize the InDesign workspace; manage and organize project elements, layers, and pages; use core tools to create, layout, and modify document elements; prepare and export documents for web, print, and other digital services from navigating and customizing the workspace to managing layers and pages efficiently. Tuition includes a voucher to the industry standard Certiport certification: Adobe Certified Professional in Print & Digital Media Publication using Adobe InDesign.

Participants will be introduced to tools used in Adobe Photoshop. As a result of this training students will master the Photoshop workspace and essential tools for image editing and design; create, manage, and manipulate layers, selections, text, and shapes to enhance design projects; and apply advanced techniques such as retouching, filters, and effects, and prepare images for export across various media. Tuition includes a voucher to the industry standard Certiport certification: Adobe Certified Professional in Visual Design Using Photoshop. Participants may qualify for entry level jobs such as photographer, social media specialist, and graphic designer.

This comprehensive Web Design and Development Program encompasses a range of courses designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for a career in web development. The program covers a wide array of topics, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, WordPress, UI/UX design principles, a real-world project completed in class with a business collaboration internship, and a capstone project to synthesize learning outcomes.
