Course Detail: WTLN232 - Lineworker Apprenticeship 3B

This hybrid, 75-hour course runs 15 weeks, 3 hours per week in a lab setting, and an additional 30 hours of training online. As a result of this training students will be able to troubleshoot and repair overhead lines in emergency and high-voltage situations; describe an underground distribution system including direct-buried cable, rigging, and pulling cable; demonstrate safe working procedures on transmission lines; and isolate and test single-phase transformers and three-phase transformer banks.

Schedule: This is a Hybrid Course with online and in-person lab work. Lab work will be 6pm to 9pm on Wednesdays beginning on January 13, 2025 and running through April 30th at either SLCC Miller Pole Yard, MCPC-123, or the St. George Power Training Yard.
