Course Detail: WTWR632 - Warehouse and Distribution Training (Refugee Only)

This 60-hour course is presented in-person and typically takes eight weeks to complete. As a result of this training students will be able to describe the different types of warehouses and distribution centers, the jobs available within them, their functions, and the role they play in supply chain distribution; explain the input tools and processes associated with receiving, inspecting, documenting, storing, and verifying product receipts; and describe warehouse inventory management and storage procedures; forklift theory, safety, and evaluation. Upon successful completion of the course, students will qualify for entry-level positions, including Order Puller, Order Clerk, Warehouse Technician, Stocker & Order Filler, Freight/Receiving Associate. This course is a stand-alone course, in the Warehouse Operations Certificate program.
