Course Detail: WTEE320 - Lighting Applications

This 30-hour course meets one day a week for 3.75 hours over an 8-week period. After completing this course students will be able to evaluate existing lighting systems and advanced lighting sources for energy demand and efficiency; apply illuminance calculations to determine appropriateness of a specific lighting system; collaborate as a member of a team in the development of lighting solutions; and formulate lighting design objectives and discuss lighting codes, applications, issues, and concerns.
