Course Detail: WTEE310 - Lighting Fundamentals

This 30-hour course meets 1 day a week for 3.75 hours over 8 weeks. As a result of this training students will be able to evaluate the various quantitative and qualitative characteristics of light sources; evaluate various characteristics and components of luminaires; apply accepted methods for assessing illumination levels and lighting quality metrics; assess various lighting related strategies for achieving an energy efficient and effective luminous environment; and locate federal and state legislation related to lighting.
