Course detail: GEA Ci3T 17: FABI Step 5

This micro-credential course offers an in-depth look at Functional Assessment-Based Intervention (FABI) - Step 5: Testing the Intervention. This course will teach participants how to test a FABI using single-case design methods (e.g., ABAB) and examine three questions (a) to what extent was the FABI put in place as planned (i.e., treatment integrity)?, (b) is there a functional relation between the introduction of the intervention and changes in student behavior?, and (c) to what degree did those involved (e.g., teacher, family, and the student themself) view the intervention as socially valid? Participants learn how to conclude the FABI process including documentation and plans for generalization and maintenance.Prerequisite: Ci3T 1-Intro to Ci3T; Ci3T 12-Intro to FABI, Ci3T 13-FABI Step 1; Ci3T 14-FABI Step 2; Ci3T 15-FABI Step 3; Ci3T 16-FABI Step 4
