This micro-credential course offers an in-depth look at Functional Assessment-Based Intervention (FABI) - Step 5: Testing the Intervention. This course will teach participants how to test a FABI using single-case design methods (e.g., ABAB) and examine three questions (a) to what extent was the FABI put in place as planned (i.e., treatment integrity)?, (b) is there a functional relation between the introduction of the intervention and changes in student behavior?, and (c) to what degree did those involved (e.g., teacher, family, and the student themself) view the intervention as socially valid?
