Hank Prim
 Biography: Hank Prim is the City Administrator for Box Elder, South Dakota, and a former law enforcement executive with the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI). As City Administrator, he serves as the City's chief administrative officer, overseeing municipal operations, department leadership, budgeting, policy implementation, and organizational priorities. Hank previously served as South Dakota's Law Enforcement Training Administrator and Executive Secretary (Director) for the Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Training Commission, overseeing training, compliance and certification for approximately 2,000 police officers and 350 public safety telecommunicators. In that role, he worked with and advised law enforcement leaders from large metropolitan and statewide agencies to small rural departments. He later managed regional field operations and statewide programs for DCI, overseeing complex investigations, critical incident capabilities, statewide public integrity programs, and the recruitment and development of sworn personnel. Before moving into formal law enforcement leadership, Hank served as a DCI special agent assigned to major crime investigations. His field experience included complex violent crime, drug trafficking, and financial investigations; multi-agency critical incident response; and assignments with FBI and U.S. Marshals task forces. He also served as a field training agent for new special agents and as an instructor at the South Dakota Basic Law Enforcement Certification Course. Hank is a graduate of FBI National Academy Session 293 and holds a Master of Science in Law Enforcement and Public Safety Leadership from the University of San Diego, a Graduate Certificate in Criminal Justice Education from the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from Hillsdale College. Hank maintains his South Dakota law enforcement certification working as a part-time police officer and police agency executive advisor.
