Instructor: Blair Schneider

Biography: Dr. Blair Schneider is an Associate Researcher and Science Outreach Manager at the Kansas Geological Survey. She is a Past-President of the Association for Women Geoscientists and past-chair of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists Women's Network Committee. She has a Ph.D. and M.S. in Geophysics from the University of Kansas and completed a postdoc in STEM Education at the University of Kansas Center for Teaching Excellence.

Kansans Live WELL is a three-day professional development workshop for K-12 STEM and agriculture educators hosted by the Kansas Geological Survey and funded by the Aquifer Water Quality Assessment for Kansas (AWQUA) program. The workshop is designed to deepen educators' understanding of water quantity and quality in Kansas through hands-on learning, field experiences, and direct interaction with scientists, policymakers, and water professionals.
