This micro-credential course is an introduction to the Comprehensive, Integrated, Three-tiered (Ci3T) Model of Prevention. It offers an overview of this proactive approach to meeting the academic, behavioral, and social and emotional well-being learning needs of students. Via recorded presentations, readings, and exemplars, participants will learn the purpose of Ci3T, how the model is built using a data-informed process, how it can be implemented in the school and classroom, and the role low-intensity strategies play in the context of Ci3T. 1-Intro to Ci3T is a pre-requisite for later Ci3T micro-credentials, including specific teacher-delivered, low-intensity strategies.
