Course detail: First Responder Inspector - Seminar Part 2 Face-to-Face

The First Responder Inspector blended learning program consists of two integrated segments. Part 1 is a self-paced, academically focused online course comprising ten interactive modules that provide fundamental knowledge on fire inspections, permit evaluation, code application, and documentation, meeting NFPA 1031 standards. A digital textbook is included within the modules, so no additional purchase is necessary. Part 2 is a two-day, face-to-face seminar that emphasizes the practical application of inspection skills. Students use verbal and written communication to interpret codes and standards, execute inspection procedures, fulfill legal responsibilities, and address safety and PPE requirements in hands-on scenarios. Completion of the online segment is required before attending the seminar, ensuring participants are fully prepared for real-world fire inspection duties and certification testing.

The First Responder Inspector Seminar Part 2 (Face-to-Face) is the practical portion of a blended learning course that builds on foundational online training. Students use verbal and written communication to apply inspection skills, including interpreting relevant codes and standards, following inspection procedures, understanding legal responsibilities, and addressing safety and PPE requirements. This seminar ensures participants demonstrate hands-on competency by practicing real-world fire safety inspections, preparing documentation, and engaging in interactive scenarios.

Note: All students must first complete the online portion (Part 1) of the training before attending.
