Course detail: ASLD 524 Visual-Gestural Communication

Students will develop capabilities in non-verbal communication and visual gestural communication utilizing the study of gestures as a form of communication and basis for visual language. Emphasis is on learning to think visually in pictures and building production and comprehension communication skills. This course is offered at the 500 and 700 level with additional assignments at the 700 Level. Not open to students with credit in ASLD 724. Prerequisite: SPED 502 with a minimum grade of C.
