Course detail: TECH3010 - Big Data for Managers and Decision Makers Workshop
The KU Big Data workshop is designed for mid-level managers with little to no data science expertise who are interested in learning the basics of Big Data in order to make decisions for their organization, assess whether they need to build data management teams, and determine how best to utilize said team or services.

The workshop consists of three half-day sessions held at the KU Edwards Campus in Kansas City. Topics covered during each session include:
  • Day 1: Data-Driven Decisions & Big Data Technological Landscape
  • Day 2: The Intersection of Data Science and Big Data & Constraints and Limitations of Big Data
  • Day 3: Big Data Resources and HR & New Directions and Opportunities for Innovation
