Course detail: Vehicle Rescue

Vehicle Rescue is a twelve hour course designed for fire fighters and other emergency responders to teach them the proper procedures for extricating accident victims from vehicles. Students will receive training in establishing command, rescue sector responsibilities, rescue vehicle preparation, vehicle placement at the scene, extrication hazards, gaining access, and patient care and disentanglement.

Participants in this class must wear a CDC recommended face covering over their mouth and nose.

Participants will be screened prior to entering the facility/building/classroom area using a Health Screening Questionnaire and a thermometer. Any person with a temperature above 100.4 °F will be required to leave the premises. Students who are ill or become ill while attending training also will be asked to leave the premises.
