Training Tower Evolutions is an 8-16 hour class using Kansas Fire & Rescue Training Institute's mobile training tower. The objective of this course is to supplement a pre-approved department training curriculum with a multi-story training structure. Topics of drills can include stand pipes and sprinkler system operations, laddering buildings up to four stories, pumping operations, aerial placement, and rope rescue techniques. This course is designed to refresh firefighters and technical rescue teams of previously learned skills, it is not designed for initial training purposes. Departments must provide the institute with a written training outline and training objectives.
Contact Kansas Fire & Rescue Training Institute for more details.
Kansas Fire & Rescue Training Institute will have a staff member on-site to operate the set-up and take-down of the tower, and monitor the overall safe practices of the towers use.
