Course detail: Fire Service Safety Culture: Who Protects Firefighters From Firefighters? F0349

This two-day course is designed to assist emergency services personnel in defining and advocating organizational change within the fire service relating to safety. Topics include safety and risk cultures within organizations; influences on safety culture and risk categories; concepts, goals, and processes of risk management. The course incorporates facilitated student-centered methodologies including lecture, small and large group activities, and individual assessments.

Participants in this class must wear a CDC recommended face covering over their mouth and nose.

Participants will be screened prior to entering the facility/building/classroom area using a Health Screening Questionnaire and a thermometer. Any person with a temperature above 100.4 F will be required to leave the premises. Students who are ill or become ill while attending training also will be asked to leave the premises.
