Course detail: Vehicle Rescue Refresher

Vehicle Rescue Refresher is a one-day (8 hours) course designed to refresh the trained technical rescuer over NFPA 1006, Chapter 8 Common Passenger Vehicle Rescue job performance requirements. Scenarios are used to require the rescuer to analyze situations, formulate a plan, and then implement the plan of action to conduct a rescue.

Special Info:
Persons taking this course must be physically fit and do moderate to heavy lifting. Personal protective equipment is to be furnished by the student and includes: OSHA or ANSI approved helmet (fire helmet is okay), safety goggles or approved safety glasses (fire helmet shields do not meet this requirement), leather work gloves, hard-toed boots, and Fire department turnout gear or NFPA 1951 technical rescue operations ensembles.
