For students who have had a brief introduction to Spanish. This course will review the present tense fundamentals of verb conjugation and vocabulary.

Intermediate-Mid level is designed to continue building grammatical structures that focus on speaking, reading, writing, and understanding.

This course is for students with a minimum of two to three years of college level Spanish, or the equivalent. It will review difficult areas of the preterite, imperfect tenses, and present subjunctive mood.

This course is for students with a minimum of three years of college-level Spanish or the equivalent. Vocabulary enrichment will be highlighted through idioms, proverbs, synonyms, and antonyms.

Not ready for your COSSI experienceto end? Join COSSI instructor and environmental expert Armando Alcalde on afour-hour outdoor workshop on Friday afternoon. Explore a beautiful stretch ofthe Deschutes River while learning about ecology.  During our 1-2 milewalk we will also discuss geology, regional watershed topics and identifyplants and animals.  This session is a fun way to expand your naturalhistory Spanish vocabulary and develop a deeper understanding of river ecosystems. All levels welcome but class is taught at an intermediate and above level.
