In this camp, students will experience the exciting field of Manga drawing, an immersive storytelling style made popular in Japanese comics. Students will learn the basics of illustration in the Manga style, and will have time to practice sketching people, facial features, hair, clothing, gesture, and facial expression, as well as learning inking, and color techniques. Principles of drawing and using Copic markers will be utilized. At the end of the camp, students will have created their own Manga character! No experience necessary in drawing to join the fun! For students ages 10-15.
