Course detail: Firefighter Skills Training

Firefighter Skills Training teaches the skills best described as "destructive" skills included in Fire Fighter I and other basic firefighter training courses. This course includes skill (hands-on) training for roof ventilation (with axes and chainsaws), forcing doors, breaking glass, sprinkler system operations (connecting to an FD connection and stopping flow from a sprinkler head), breaching walls and "pulling" ceilings.

Students must bring their own turn-out gear and SCBA.
