No image available Biography: is a decorated combat veteran, a former commissioned Foreign Service Officer in the State Department, and startup founder. John designed and now teaches the Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) course at the University of Arizona College of Applied Science and Technology, an NSA-approved National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations (CAE-CO). He has trained hundreds of students, ranging from special forces operators to bail bondsmen, street cops to journalists. After leaving the Army, John designed and led development of the classified TIGR software and hardware suite at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. Since then, John has added to his skillset by becoming a Certified Ethical Hacker, and developing intelligence and analysis software for national security entities. John has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, CNBC, the Washington Post and other major national outlets. He was profiled in the Oscar-nominated documentary, Operation Homecoming.
