Biography: Sam Hiatt has served the Lawrence Police Department for 12 years, currently as a Sergeant in the Patrol Division. Prior to being promoted to Sergeant, Sam was assigned to the Investigations Division for over six years as a Juvenile Investigator and a Detective. Sam was a negotiator on the Crisis Response Team for six years and instructs in the LPD Basic Recruit Academy and CIT. |
