No image available Biography: Sergeant Dan Oblinger, an 18-year veteran of the Wichita Police Department, is currently assigned as the supervisor of the Vice Undercover Section. Dan has extensive experience dismantling criminal enterprises via criminal and civil law proceedings. His experiences cover criminal conspiracies engaged in prostitution, human trafficking, problem nightclubs and massage businesses, public corruption, stolen property, and gambling violations. His team has seized and forfeited well over $5 million in cash and property from such enterprises in the last five years. Dan was a task-force member for the FBI in a multi-year public corruption, gambling, and fraud case. He is a member of the Kansas Attorney General's Human Trafficking Advisory Board, Homeland Security's Heartland Anti-Trafficking Response Team, and the Wichita Area Rescue Network. He is a contributing author to the book, "Combatting Human Trafficking: A Multi-Disciplinary Approach". Oblinger holds a Bachelor's Degree from Wichita State University in Criminal Justice and Philosophy, and is married with six children.
