Thomas William Strganac
Biography: Since 1989, Thomas Strganac has served as a professor of aerospace engineering at Texas A&M University. His research and engineering activities focus on aeroelastic phenomena, structural dynamics, fluid-structure interaction, limit cycle oscillations and related nonlinear mechanics. His research has been sponsored by NASA, AFRL, NSF and industry. From 1975 to 1989, Thomas served as a research engineer at NASA's Langley Research Center and as an aerospace engineer at NASA's Goddard Flight Space Center. Thomas is an Associate Fellow of the AIAA and a registered professional engineer. He received his B.S. from North Carolina State University and his M.S. from Texas A&M University, both in aerospace engineering, and received his Ph.D. in engineering mechanics from Virginia Tech.
