Course detail: Leadership Live: Finance for Non-Financial Professionals

This program is a study of the concepts and applications of financial planning and management for non-financial professionals. Topics include the time value of money, asset valuation, capital structures and budgeting, financial analysis and cash flow, and project and investment decision making.

Learning Objectives:
  • Demonstrate the principles of financial planning and management
  • Identify corporate structures, financial institutions, and investments
  • Develop financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and financial ratios
  • Produce time valuations, cash flows, and taxation in project and operational environments
  • Assess capital structures and budgeting in decision-making
  • Give enough financial grounding to understand the background needed as a project manager dealing with budgets and interactions with peers and upper level management
