Course detail: INST2 - Fire Service Instructor 2 Training
This course is designed to meet the requirements of the NFPA 1041 Standard for Fire Service Instructor Level 2 by providing students with the skills needed to design courses that can be used effectively by other instructors. Students will learn how to systematically design a course based on the training need(s) within their organization. Students will develop lesson plans, create activities, write test questions, utilize appropriate evaluation instruments, schedule training, and supervise activities of other instructors. Note: REQUIRED textbook: Fire and Emergency Services Instructor, 8th Edition IFSTA. All students must first complete Fire Service Instructor 1 training before attending.
