Course: Community Peacebuidling
This course will examine how people actively build peace in their communities and beyond. It will highlight community-centered approaches, applied peacebuilding practices, and the evolving role of AI and emerging technologies in conflict transformation. Students will engage in real-world challenges, develop practical skills, and collaborate on solutions that strengthen communities and support people building peace at local and global levels.
Course Expectations:
This noncredit offering incorporates academic content and learning activities derived from graduate-level coursework. As a result, participants should expect advanced material and a level of rigor and performance consistent with graduate-level study. Participants are expected to complete the required learning activities and assignments. The course instructor will provide additional guidance regarding participation requirements and expectations and will take approximately 45 hours to complete.
