Course Detail: WELL-9269 - Alzheimer's Disease: An Inside Look

This workshop provides a foundational understanding of Alzheimer's disease, focusing on its causes, symptoms, and stages. Students will learn practical communication techniques and caregiving strategies to support individuals with Alzheimer's and enhance their quality of life. This workshop meets Illinois licensure requirement for one-hour training on the diagnosis, treatment, and care of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.

Class Note: Upon successful completion, one (1) contact hour will be awarded to nurses, nursing home administrators, social workers, counselors, respiratory technicians, occupational therapists, dietitians, and physical therapists.
