Course Description: This course provides the necessary content to meet the 15-hour risk management requirement as part of the 45-hour mandatory broker postlicensing curriculum for the state of Illinois. Students will learn the essential information related to risk management commonly experienced in real estate brokerages, including antitrust, escrow issues, insurance, sexual harassment prevention training, and more. It includes information about grounds for discipline and disciplinary procedures, as well as realistic case studies and scenarios concerning the disciplinary process, fair housing, and cyber security.

Brokers will apply their knowledge related to risk management and discipline through exercises, role-play activities, situational simulations, and case studies.
