Course Description: Deschutes Watershed Speaker Series: Learn About Your Home Waters

The Upper Deschutes Watershed Council in partnership with Community Education at Central Oregon Community College, is coordinating a six-part informational series about the Deschutes watershed. Join us to learn about water use in the watershed, water conservation efforts, geology and hydrology and fish and wildlife in the Deschutes watershed. Four sessions will be lectures and held at the High Desert Museum. Two sessions will be full day field trips to explore topics from the lectures.

Schedule: Lecture sessions are held on Thursday, 4/23; Wednesday, 5/6; Thursday, 5/28; and Thursday, 6/4, 6-8 pm at The High Desert Museum. Field days are on Fridays, 5/15 and 6/12, 9 am-4 pm.

Full refunds are also issued for classes cancelled by COCC. Refunds will be issued back to your card or in the form of a check and mailed within two weeks of the cancellation date if paid by check or cash.
