Biography: Anton Gonzalez-Jennings has been teaching for more than 28 years and loves creating engaging, welcoming classrooms where every student can succeed. A native Spanish speaker, he has taught a wide range of subjects-including Spanish, Math, GED preparation, History, and Science-to learners of all ages in both the U.S. and Mexico. His experience includes working with college students, K-12 learners, and adults in underserved communities, including farmers and indigenous groups in rural areas. Anton blends a variety of teaching methods-including Waldorf, Reggio Emilia, and Montessori-to create a dynamic, accessible, and culturally rich learning experience.
Beyond the classroom, he has led educational programs, built collaborative teams, and secured major grants to support student success. Passionate about equity, inclusion, and cultural exchange, Anton enjoys helping students connect what they learn to real-world experiences and discover the joy of learning.
When he's not teaching, you can find Anton rock climbing, mountain biking, camping, or paddleboarding-making the most of Central Oregon's beautiful outdoors.
