Course Description: Birding for Health

Research indicates that paying attention to birds, such as watching them, listening to their songs and observing them in nature, can have meaningful benefits for both physical and mental well-being. Some providers even prescribe 'birding' to patients to increase physical and mental health. This workshop introduces enjoying birds in ways that support health and wellness. Suitable for adults of all skill levels. The workshop consists of one evening indoor session and a local morning outdoor experience.
