Course Description: Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is a powerful sequence of supported therapeutic postures to turn on the body's natural healing capacity. This is an experience of holding shapes while being supported with bolsters, blankets and sandbags to add traction, grounding and increased range of motion. Props support the body to open and lengthen gradually. All restorative postures are based on scientific studies to influence circulation surrounding muscles and reduce stress in organs along with breath formulas to induce calm. This series will guide the body to be receptive to self care practice to promote wellness and teach the nervous system a new way to be.
