Course Description: IT 201: 2nd Year Italian I
This course continues the work of First Year Italian, reviewing, expanding and perfecting pronunciation, structure and vocabulary for the purpose of active oral and written communication. Increasing emphasis on writing and reading skills. Culture, regionalisms and history incorporated; course taught mostly in Italian. This is a college-level course. Although assignments, tests, and quizzes are optional for Community Education students, you will be expected to fully participate. A textbook may be required for this course. Please check with the COCC Bookstore. This is a non-credit Community Education class. You will not receive college credit. Recommended preparation: IT 103; students who have previously learned Italian should contact the instructor for advice on which class to take.
