Course Description: Macram�: Let's Get a Little Bit Knotty!

Macram� is an easy method method for crafting textile pieces that can be both functional and beautiful and more importantly, fun to create! In this class, crafter Melanie Bills will teach essential macram� knows and design techniques that form the foundation of countless creative projects. As a group, students will learn and complete one, small macram� project together (think: a keychain or a bracelet), learning the key knots and patterns that can be adapted to create other craft projects like earrings and charms.

All supplies provided, and no experience necessary.

Melanie Bills

Biography: Melanie Bills has been teaching for COCC Continuing Education since 2005. Primarily self-taught, Melanie believes everyone has creative potential, and uses her classes to help students discover or tap into their creative side. Melanie finds creativity in every aspect of her life, whether it's with working with wire, crafting art journals, or her life's work as a hairdresser. She credits her grandmother for passing on her eclectic style.

Students must cancel by contacting our office via phone: (541) 383-7270 or email: ceinfo@cocc.edu. Cancellations received 5 days prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund. Full refunds are also issued for classes cancelled by COCC. Refunds will be issued back to your card or in the form of a check and mailed within two weeks of the cancellation date if paid by check or cash. Failure to participate in a course or program does not result in a refund. Exceptions to the general refund policy are noted in the course descriptions on our website and in the printed schedule.
