Course Detail: MACHINESEWING - Beginning Sewing

Do you have a sewing machine that you don't know how to use? Do want to sew but have had no training or instruction? This course is designed to teach the basics of machine sewing. Skills gained will be threading and basic troubleshooting. Basic machine adjustments and stitch types. How to sew on various fabrics. Basic sewing terms and techniques including using simple patterns. All these skills will be taught through the completion of 3 small class projects and a 4th project of the students choosing. 

This class is geared for adults and older teens. 

Students will provide their own machines, thread, pins, and scissors. 

Course fee will cover material for the first 3 small projects. Students will purchase their own fabric for project 4.
