This course qualifies students to work in medical laboratories, hospitals, clinics, donor facilities, healthcare insurance providers and more. Classroom, laboratory and clinical experience are included in this 11 week course. Course has limited space and is offered Spring and Fall each year. Prerequisites: 18 years of age, HS diploma or GED, provide proof of current Immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis A/B and PPD within 12 months) and Healthcare provider CPR. Fee is $999.00

First steps in starting up a business.
Prepare to be a Flagger for work zone traffic control. Learn the basics of flagging and traffic control. Receive State of Oregon Department of Transportation Credentials for Flaggers. Valid for three years in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana. Class fee includes textbooks. Must be 18 or older to get a job as a Flagger. This 2- session workshop, from research to review, is designed specifically for those working with non-profit organizations or for those who want to hone their professional grant writing skills. This workshop will help participants refine their proposals, and have an opportunity for actual foundation members to provide feedback. Grant writing experience is necessary along with some pre-workshop preparation. Early registration is advised due to limited seating.
