During this fun course you'll learn basic line dance steps and beginner dances. Before you know it, you'll be boot-scootin' around the dance floor and soon, you'll be ready to tackle harder dances with confidence. Yes, there's homework, but it's fun! Join this class and Dance, Dance, Dance! Four Count Swing is a fun dance similar to the Jitterbug, and is ideal for fifties and other up-tempo music. Cha-Cha is a fun, flirty, lighthearted dance with Cuban origins. Please register with a partner. Each partner is required to complete registration process. Instructors: L. and C. McKinney

If you have taken Beginning Middle Eastern Dance lessons and are comfortable with the basic moves this class is for you! The basic moves are Pivot Bump, Pivot Bump Circle, Egyptian Basic, Egyptian Basic Cross, Head/Chest/Hip Slides, Grapevine, Three-Point Turn, Snake Arms, Choo-Choo, Shoulder/Hip Shimmy, Horizontal Figure 8, Turkish Arms, Hip Circle, Arab Basic, Hip Accent Up/Down. Join us in continuing to strengthen your core muscles, hone your basic skills, and learn more Middle Eastern Dance moves! We will choreograph a class dance that incorporates all the basics plus the new skills learned in this class. Join "Deborah" Kelley and volunteer instructor "Kat" Davis, a combined 60 years of Middle Eastern Dance experience, and bring your dance skills to the next level! The first class will be a review of the basic moves.

"Belly Dance" is a great way to strengthen your core muscles and achieve overall body toning. Have a fun, expressive, and creative time with your fellow students while learning a variety of steps and styles based on Middle Eastern Dance. Gently increase your flexibility and strength while learning to isolate and control various muscle groups. Discover new ways of moving your body to the rhythms of Middle Eastern music and dance your way to fitness! Instructor "Deborah" Kelley and volunteer instructor "Kat" Davis will guide you on your new journey. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring water.
