You don't need a garage full of expensive, noisy power tools to make beautiful wood projects!  In this course we'll explore techniques for cutting and joining wooden parts using inexpensive and readily available hand tools.  You'll gain confidence measuring and marking your workpieces and learn techniques for cutting with a handsaw, using edge tools like chisels and hand planes, and shaping wood with specialty tools such as rasps, coping saws, and gouges.  All of this will be powered by you, not by intimidating machines.  Each participant will build a project in class utilizing the skills and knowledge gained each week.
