Course Detail: SSCS - SIUE Community Strings Program - Violin, Viola, Cello Lessons
Learn note reading, and concert pieces; prepare for Solo and Ensemble Contest and school orchestra assignments; play folk songs, hymns, or fiddle tunes.

Open to students age 9 and up. Suzuki Students must register under SIUE Suzuki Program.
- How many weeks? 15 weeks per semester. Fall Semester is August-December, Spring Semester is January-May. The registration fee is paid once per academic year.
- How long are lessons? 30, 45, or 60 minutes
- Where are lessons? On the SIUE Campus, Dunham Hall, 2nd Floor *pending University guidelines
- When is my lesson? Lesson times are arranged with your teacher. Lessons are taught by SIUE Graduate Assistants in Music.
- What is the cost? There is a $20 annual registration fee, paid once per year. In addition to the registration fee, tuition fees are listed below.
- 30 Minute Lesson: $450 per semester
- 45 Minute Lesson: $675 per semester
- 60 Minute Lesson: $900 per semester
- Only payments for full amount accepted
- Keep a copy of registration for your records
- Parking: Use the Visitor Parking Lot B
