Health professionals work with many different people, and communication is key. This course will introduce you to the basic vocabulary, grammar and idiomatic expressions needed to communicate in Spanish in a health professional context. Focus on the conversational skills needed to successfully communicate basic information with Spanish-speaking patients with limited English proficiency. No need for fluency in Spanish, however, basic knowledge is fundamental to obtain the utmost from the course. Materials are included in the cost of the course. No textbook is required for the course.
