Course Detail: SAS1 - Soups and Stews

As the weather cools, it is the perfect time for a great bowl of soup! Learn tips and techniques for the perfect soups, stews and chowders and prepare in class vegetarian broccoli and cheddar soup, loaded creamy baked potato soup, and hearty Tuscan broth-based chicken soup. The recipe packet will include additional soup recipes that will not be done in class, including white chicken chili, beef stew and lobster bisque. A cooking basics packet of preparation tips and recipes will be sent via email prior to class for you to purchase ingredients and have supplies ready to prepare and cook during class.
