Let's enjoy a tea tasting party! We will make Matcha, Green tea and 5 other herbal teas from Japan such as Loquat, Barley even Seaweed teas. Japanese traditional sweets will be also served. Did you ever go tp tje Japanese festival at the Missouri Botanical Gardens during Labor Day weekend? Did you try Starbucks Matcha Tea Latte? Did you have Japanese Green tea at a Japanese restaurant? These are all called Green tea and/or Matcha. We will learn the differences, make and try them throughout the evening. In this class, we will make Matcha in a little bit of a casual way but with authentic, traditional Japanese Bamboo Whisk. Japanese language is not required, however some Japanese terms will be introduced. Most dietary restrictions can be accommodated if noted prior to the event.
