You will attain a basic understanding of Japanese calligraphy through practicing writing Japanese hiragana, katakana, and kanji. The class will focus on drawing the elementary level of Japanese calligraphy. You will learn basic strokes and techniques for writing Japanese characters and be able to practice Japanese Kanji Characters using calligraphy tools and materials. A list of materials will be provided for purchase.
