Always wanted to take a photography class but felt intimidated by trying something new? Don't have a digital DSLR? That's okay in this class! Whether you are shooting with your digital DSLR, mirrorless/point and shoot digital camera, or phone, you will learn to take better pictures with what you already have. Learn photo fundamentals from photography greats past and present in weekly slideshows: the rule of thirds, depth of field, framing, aperture, shutter speed and ISO. Class materials needed include your camera of choice and a notebook you will use for a photo journal to record your field notes while shooting and write about new-to-you photographers who have similar interests to your own.
