This course provides an overview of digital photography for those who are not familiar with the technology. You will learn the basic functions of their camera and controls to create high quality images on their smartphone, DSLR, compact, or mirrorless image-making devices. Those wanting to take better images will learn the basic practices of digital photography such as understanding exposure and composition, learning how to properly store images, editing photographs with different kinds of software, and preparing images for printing. In addition to technical skills, you will also practice developing the creativity and artistic eye that allow you to express yourself through visual imagery.
