Heartsaver First Aid, CPR & AED is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives.

Lake Region State College's North Dakota Department of Health-approved non-credit 80-hour nurse assistant training program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to gain employment as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). Programming consists of a combination of nurse assistant theory, lab and 16 hours of simulated clinical instruction. Students attend this in-person training according to a predetermined schedule.

This hybrid training program consists of a combination of 4 weeks of online Nurse Assistant theory coursework in addition to 32 hours of face-to-face lab and clinical instruction. Students complete 4 weeks of online coursework, then attend labs and clinicals in person on a predetermined schedule.
