Heartsaver First Aid, CPR & AED is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives.

Ready to take the state exam to become a Certified Nurse Assistant? Occasionally, we have availability for those who are not our students to test. Online registrations are preferred. A facility or third party needing an invoice for a registration can call 701-662-1578.

This training program consists of a combination of Nurse Assistant theory, lab, and clinical instruction. Students attend this in-person training according to a predetermined schedule.

TrainND at Lake Region State College offers many options for online career training programs through ed2go. The training programs are longer in length as they are comprised of several courses and may lead to certification. Some examples of career training programs include Certified Bookkeeper, Clinical Dental Assistant, Front End Web Developer, and HVAC/R Certified Technician.

The BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.
